The ElysRocket Whitepaper

ElysRocket is a launch architecture designed and built natively for Elysium. Every token is born whole — its entire supply inside a pool no one can drain — trades under a fee engine that pays the people who make the market, and, when it proves itself, graduates for real: an atomic migration to Uniswap V3 with the LP locked forever. This paper describes the mechanism exactly as it is deployed.

01Overview

A fair launch, by construction

ElysRocket is the native launchpad of Elysium (chainId 99901). It exists to remove the trust assumptions that make most token launches unfair: the insider allocation, the unlockable liquidity, the mint switch someone forgot to turn off. On Elys, fairness is not a promise made by a team — it is the shape of the contract.

Five ideas define the design:

A creator may set a first buy that fills inside the launch transaction, ahead of the market and exempt from the Aegis tax: the founder's lane. Everything else about a launch — name, symbol, quote asset, fee split — is fixed at creation and cannot be changed afterwards.

02The Curve

Constant product, virtual reserve

Each token trades against its pool inside the Launchpad contract — an internal market, not an external AMM pair. The pool is a constant-product curve over two quantities: the token reserve Rt (which starts at the full 1,000,000,000 supply) and the quote side, which combines a virtual reserve V with the real quote reserve Rq actually held by the contract:

(V + Rq) × Rt = V × 1,000,000,000
spot price = (V + Rq) / Rt

The virtual reserve is a pricing device, not money: it lets the pool open at a sane price with zero real capital locked. For the standard pool, V is 30 HYPE, so the opening spot price is 0.00000003 HYPE (3e-8) and the opening market capitalisation is exactly the virtual reserve itself — 30 HYPE. Native HYPE and WHYPE pools use the registered 30 HYPE virtual reserve; a pool quoted in a custom ERC-20 uses the virtual reserve set for that quote at launch.

A buy adds quote to Rq and removes tokens from Rt along the curve, so price rises with every purchase; a sell walks the same curve in reverse. Because the virtual reserve inflates the quote side, the pool can always quote a price — but it can only pay out what it truly holds:

Real-reserve cap. Sell payouts are capped by the real quote reserve Rq. The market can never promise money it does not hold, and there is no withdrawal function for the pool — not for the creator, not for the platform, not for anyone — until the reserves move, once, at graduation (§5).

Worked example (standard 30 HYPE pool, ignoring fee side-flows). Net sold is measured as 1B − Rt, buyback burns included. When net sold reaches the Ascension threshold of 60%, the pool holds Rt = 400,000,000 tokens against Rq ≈ 45 HYPE of real reserves, and the spot price has risen to ≈ 1.88e-7 HYPE — a market capitalisation of ≈ 187.5 HYPE. The sections below explain what the fees do along the way and what happens at that line.

03Fees & QuadSplit

One fee, four destinations

Every trade pays the fee its creator chose at launch (0%–2%) in the quote asset. The split of that fee is fixed by the protocol and by the creator's launch-time design:

QuadSplit streamHow it is paid
CreatorAccrued per token; claimable by the creator
HoldersDividends, distributed in real time
Buyback & burnBuys the token on-curve, sends it to dEaD
LiquidityReturned to the pool's real reserve

Holder dividends are native to the token. The holders' stream is distributed by the token contract itself on a magnified-per-share basis: hold the token and your share of every trade's holders' stream accrues to you in the pool's quote asset, weighted by your balance, claimable whenever you like — no staking contract, no farming detour, no snapshot to game. Tokens sitting inside the pool itself do not participate. Yield here is not an emissions schedule; it is a share of real trading, paid by the market itself.

The buyback stream executes immediately on each trade: the fee buys the token along the pool's own curve and sends it to the dead address (0x0000…dEaD), permanently reducing supply — and because burned tokens reduce the pool's token reserve, buybacks also count toward the net-sold measure that drives Ascension. The liquidity stream is added straight back into the real reserve, lifting the floor under every holder. Remainder dust from the fee split is routed to the liquidity stream, so the four streams plus the platform share account for the fee exactly.

04Aegis Anti-Snipe

Three seconds of armor

The first moments of a launch are where snipers feed. The Aegis shield answers with a decaying penalty tax on buys only, measured from the launch timestamp:

Elapsed since launchTotal buy tax
Second 099%
Second 124.81%
Second 25.19%
From second 3 onthe pool's chosen fee (0–99%)

The Aegis tax is not a separate toll: it flows through the same allocation path as the base fee — at least half to the platform, the rest through the pool's QuadSplit — so a sniper's penalty pays the creator, the holders, the buyback and the pool, in the pool's own proportions. Bots can still buy in the first seconds; they just pay the community for the privilege.

Sells always pay only the pool's chosen fee — the shield never traps anyone trying to exit. And the creator's own first buy, sealed inside the launch transaction, is exempt from the Aegis tax by design (it still pays the pool's chosen fee).

05Ascension / Graduation

The 60% mark — graduation is real

When 60% of a token's supply has been bought out of its pool, net of sells (net sold = 1B − token reserve, buyback burns included), the token Ascends. Graduation is not a badge and not a manual process. Inside the very transaction that crosses the line — after that trade has settled in full at internal-pool prices, fees allocated as usual — the pool migrates, atomically, in the same transaction:

Eligibility. Migration fires when a graduating pool's real quote reserve is at least 1 HYPE; a pool that crosses the line below that reserve keeps trading internally (its liquidity stream keeps building the real reserve) and migrates in the later transaction that carries it over the threshold. Only pools quoted in native HYPE or WHYPE migrate. A pool quoted in a custom ERC-20 does not migrate: it keeps trading in its birth pool, sealed as designed, and its graduation remains a mark of demand rather than a migration.

What survives migration. Migration moves trading liquidity — it never touches anyone's ledger. Creator fees accrued before graduation stay claimable by the creator; platform fees stay withdrawable by the owner; and dividends already accrued stay claimable by holders forever, because the dividend ledger lives in the token contract, independent of where the token trades. What stops is accrual: after graduation, V3 swap fees belong to the locked LP position, so no new dividends are generated, and the buyback and liquidity streams — which execute through internal trades — likewise end with the internal pool.

The migration executes inside the crossing trade's transaction, so its one-time gas cost (pool creation and position mint) is borne by the crossing trader — on Elysium this is on the order of a thousandth of a HYPE.

06Contracts & Security

Fixed rules, small owner surface

The deployed system is deliberately boring where it matters:

The contract owner's powers are limited to three administrative functions, none of which can touch user funds, pool reserves, prices or any existing pool's terms:

Owner functionEffect
setQuoteRegister a quote asset and its virtual reserve
setCustomQuotesEnable or disable custom ERC-20 quote assets
withdrawPlatformFeesWithdraw the platform's accrued fee share (≥50% of every fee)

07Risks

Risk disclosure

ElysRocket is an experimental protocol on a young network. Tokens launched on it are volatile by design: prices are set by a bonding curve and then by open markets, and a token can lose most or all of its value quickly — including to zero. Nothing in this paper, on the ElysRocket website, or in any project communication is financial advice or a promise of return.

Do your own research. Verify contract addresses against §6, read the mechanism before trading, and only ever trade what you can afford to lose entirely.
